http://www.betanews.com/article/iPod_iTunes_Have_Problems_with_Vista/1170444676 With Vista RTM having been available for nearly 3 months now, you'd think apple would've fixed iTunes/iPod to work with it. I've got it working ok, but some stuff didn't transfer...

Hmmm. Live writer looks just like OneNote. If this works, maybe I'll be more inclined to blog more often. I certainly have things to talk about. <grin>...

When dealing with pulling pesky drapes over those stupid hanging rods, wrap some cellophane or tin-foil around the end of the rod to keep the drapes from sticking.
I came up with this on my own after I nearly ripped the drapes when they came off. <grrr>...

For the past week or so. Sheldon has been talking about bluetooth earpieces. Personally, I love my headset, and it's much more comfortable that trying to carry around a phone, or even a wired headset, but I try to not use it in public for the very reasons...

Contest
I've become a big fan of Matthew Reilly's work, his energetic, over-the-top race-against-time thrillers. Contest is/was his first work, self-published in 1000 copies, and retooled, and re-released in 2003. In a word, awesome. You can definitely...

The passing of Steve Irwin is a sad thing, but this is a stragely fitting tribute.
Warning: Very adult content on the other comics at this site. (Not this particular strip, though)

Hmm, only twisted, huh?
The telling thing is that I recognize Johnny's eyes on the quiz... I don't think I could ever aspire to be as evil as JTHM.
How evil are you?

Well, it's taken over 8 months, but I've gone through several hundred albumns in alphabetical order (Starting with "13 Above the Night" by "My Life With The Thrill Kill Kult" and ending with "Zoo Rave" by Various Artists.)
It's been a learning experience,...

http://www.pvponline.com/archive.php3?archive=20060517Personally, I really dislike those commercials, although my wife likes them. I think they are F.U.D, and largely inaccurate. I wonder how much longer they will run.<shrug>...

Finally finished up F.E.A.R this weekend. (I've actually had it since it came out, but for various reasons, including the 1.0.3 patch, I never could get very far)
At any rate, I thought it was pretty awesome. Quite scary and atmospheric, and rather fun...

Every since I got my ipod, I've been going through my ripped CDs in alphabetical order by album name. I started, almost by accident, but it's been a useful excercise. First off, by doing it by album name, there is enough variety so that it never gets...

I don't really care to spend $20 just to swap out the faceplate on my 360 with one static image, but for $20 and the cost of ink, this might be worth it for a new look. (The white really, really stands out in my system)

Following up on my Jack of all Trades Post...As I said before, it's come to my attention that I'm not enough of a specialist in any given area. This is due to two facts, I think. First, it's been difficult to specialize in any given area when the majority...

When I first saw "The Ring" on DVD, I was immediately fascinated with the idea. Something about the killer videotape myth struck a chord. I immediately read everything I could on the movie, watching the Japanese version, and even reading the translation...

It has come to my attention that, while I have very solid coding skills, I don't have any particular technology that I can call my own. While this ability to be extremely flexible has served me well in my current career, particularly in working in startups...

Upgraded to Community Server 2.0. The hardest part seems to have been waiting for the files to upload.

I've been playing through Wild Arms: Alter Code F recently. It's an upgrade of what was one of the great (IMO) early RPGs on the PS One. It was a great transition between 2D & 3D RPGs. (The world map and dungeons were 2D and the battles were 3D) It...
